What is HexaLink?

HexaLink is a smart card that combines functionality and security. It features a photo, name, staff number and a QR code that links to a contact card of the employee. It also uses NFC technology for tapping in and out of the office and other facilities. HexaLink has a sleek and professional design, with a horizontal orientation and a hexagonal shape. The card is made of durable plastic and has a hologram logo of the company to prevent counterfeiting. HexaLink is more than just an ID badge, it is a way to connect and collaborate with your colleagues.

Get your card

Getting your HexaLink card depends on whether you are a new or returning member of the Hexaple family.

If you are new to Hexaple, you will need to complete an application form for your first HexaLink card. Your HexaLink should be ready to pick up on your first day of work unless our printing system fails, or something is missing from you. You may apply once you have received your welcome/onboarding package. If you are eligible to get yours before your onboarding day, the Carding Office will email you about the details.

If your HexaLink expired due to resignation, you will need to renew or get a new HexaLink card.

Use your HexaLink

Your HexaLink card is the official staff identification and represents that you are a member of the Hexaple family. It is not your typical plastic card; it also gives you discounts at several outlets at and around the office.

Building access

Buildings at all locations, including headquarters, regional offices, popup kiosks, use the same HexaLink system. Wherever you see the ‘Tap your card’ logo or signage, you may proceed using your HexaLink card and tap at the card reader. Depending on your department and privilege, your HexaLink gives you access to Hexaple office buildings across the continent.

Use your HexaLink card to enjoy exclusive staff pricing at food outlets at Hexaple office and even stores nearby.

Report loss and replace

If you have lost your HexaLink, you should report to HexaLink Carding Office as soon as possible by following the steps below:

Step 1: Contact your team lead or HR so that they could suspend any building access registered on your card immediately

Step 2: Complete the Loss and Replacement form and pay the replacement fee (HKD$130)

Step 3: Wait for a confirmation email and pick up your new HexaLink

Please note that your lost HexaLink will be deactivated once you submit the form. The old HexaLink number will no longer be valid, and any associated building access will be removed and transferred to your new HexaLink.
